Room in Astoria 3 Bedroom Available 10/1

Hi! We’re two female professionals looking for a roommate to sign a one year lease for our 3 bed + 1 bath apartment in Astoria starting 10/1/2026! The apartment is located off the Astoria Blvd stop, just a few blocks from Astoria Park and about a 10-12 minute walk from the N/W. The surrounding area has plenty of amazing coffee shops, restaurants and bars. There’s a CitiBike station right across the street as well for alternate transportation.

About the room:

Rent for the room is $985 + utilities. Monthly utilities include Wifi and electricity which we all split 3 ways, usually totaling to about $60-100 a month per person depending on the time of year. Water and gas is included in the rent. There’s no in-unit laundry but the nearest laundromat is less than a block away.

The room is the second largest in the apartment and is south facing so you’ll get a lot of light throughout the day and a great view of the sunset. It can fit a queen sized bed with additional room for a desk, dresser, etc. You’ll also get a small closet for your belongings in the hall across from the room.

To move in we are requiring first months rent and a credit check. There’s no security deposit so any potential damages would be paid out of pocket by the respective tenant.

About the roommates:

- We’re in our late 20s-mid 30s and both work corporate jobs.
- One is an engineer with a hybrid schedule who travels often for work, the other works remotely for a hospitality company based out of Manhattan.
- We’re both quiet and like to keep the apartment clean, so we ask that the new roommate be on the same page about this. That being said, having guests over is perfectly fine.

What we’re looking for:
- A female roommate in their mid 20s-30s with consistent income.
- Someone communicative, clean, and respectful.
- Pet friendly, as we have one kitty in residence already but aren’t looking for any more pets unfortunately.
