Seeking new roommate to fill spacious bedroom in Astoria. Bedroom comfortably fits a queen-size bed with a full dresser, two night stands, desk, and two bookshelves (with plenty of room to spare). Wall AC and overhead fan (plus a great cross-breeze) keep the space cool in summer while the carpeted floor and wall heater keep it warm in winter. Closet has ample room for clothing and overhead storage shelf. Room has accessible fire escape balcony that looks over backyard garden and features stunning daily sunsets.

The entire apartment is the third floor of a well-maintained house (the super, Joe, would be one of your roommates) and is a three-bed two-bath (you would share the bathroom with another tenant) on a residential street nestled near Broadway and Steinway Streets, allowing for a sense of calm and quiet without compromising accessibility to all that the neighborhood has to offer. Kitchen has new appliances (including a dishwasher) and is well-maintained and living room features a comfortable couch with 70+ inch TV. Roommates all work during the day and are friendly, frequently splitting grocery costs and cooking communal meals (though there is by no means an expectation for you to participate if you don't want). No laundry in-building but a good laundromat about a five minute walk away. Steinway St subway (EFMR) is about five minutes away while Broadway (NW) is about twelve.

This is an apartment that has been well-loved throughout the years and we are hoping to find someone who will cherish the room as much as we have. The apartment has one very sweet elderly cat, so no additional pets at this time.
