Hi, my name is Cameron, and I'm looking for someone to take over my room in a 3-bedroom apartment in Astoria.

You'll be living with two roommates, Donovan and J. They're both easygoing, respectful, and easy to communicate with. Everyone mostly keeps to themselves, so it's a pretty quiet living situation. We usually only run into each other while cooking, using the bathroom, or coming and going. Sometimes you wouldn't even know the others are home. We share household responsibilities and split utilities, internet, and gas, while everyone is responsible for their own food and personal space.

The room is $708 per month. Water is included in the rent, while utilities, internet, and gas are split separately. For the price, it's a fairly spacious room that can comfortably fit a full-size bed, dresser, and additional furniture. The front-facing window provides plenty of natural light and offers beautiful views of the neighborhood, with glimpses of the Manhattan skyline as well.

The location is one of the apartment's best features. It's just a 4-minute walk to the NYC Ferry, and the bus stop is directly across the street, providing easy access to the M, F, E, N, W, and R trains. The N and W trains are about a 13-15 minute walk away. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, and other conveniences within walking distance.

There is no washer and dryer in the building, but there are several laundromats within an 8-10 minute walk that are convenient and easy to access.
