Astoria - August 1st - In unit washer dryer

ISO: 2 Tidy Roommates for my 3B1BR apt. - August 1 move in. Looking for 2 women to join my 3B/1BR apartment, starting August 1st. My current roommates are moving out, and I’m looking for people to keep the quiet and clean environment I have with them 🙂

Apartment details:
• 3B/1BA. Walking distance from all the amazing restaurants in Astoria.
• Each Room (same size): $1,170 + utilities, one month security deposit. Fits a queen size bed, with exterior closet.
• ~15 min walk to M and R trains, 20 min walk to W, N trains.
• In unit washer and dryer.

About me: I’m a queer teacher in my early 30s. I work Mon-Fri and I am usually around on the weekends and during the Summer. I spend most of my time in my room, but I also enjoy watching tv/reading in the living room. I love the dynamic I have with my current roommates and would like to keep the same: Keep the party outside, always communicate when bringing guests and keep the shared spaces clean.

Cleanliness: Proactive about dishes, trash, and bathroom/ common area upkeep.

Reliability: Must have stable income (at least 55k), pass management approval, and pay rent/utilities consistently on time and good credit score.

Lifestyle: I treat the apartment as a place to rest and have peace. I am looking for roommates who share the same values.

Guests: Unfortunately I’ve had enough bad experiences with men in the apartment, so no men sleeping over or as a frequent guest is non-negotiable. Women are more than welcome as a guest, as long as we communicate in advance and everyone feels comfortable with their staying.

Pets: 1 cat allowed. No dogs allowed.
