Sunny Room Available in Large 3-Bed Apartment

Hi there!

We have a room available in our 3-bed apartment from November 1st. The move in date can be a little flexible. It will be a month to month lease but we are looking for someone long term.

The rent is $975/month, utilities not included. Utilities are typically under $100 per month, depending on season. The landlord requires a security deposit of $975 & the roommates require a deposit of $100 for bills.

The common areas in the apartment are furnished, and your bedroom can come furnished if desired. Previous roommate is leaving us to be closer to her new job, and her new place is furnished. She has a mattress and bed frame available to buy, and the room will come with a dresser included if you want.

The room can fit a full size bed and a desk/dresser and it has a big closet. We all share the shower in the main bathroom, (one roommate has her own half bath). We have a large living space and a balcony also. The apartment is a third-floor walk-up in a great part of Astoria, less than a 10-minute walk to the N train at Astoria Blvd, with buses and citibikes nearby and close to various bars, restaurants, cafes, gyms, and laundromats. Our landlord is friendly and responsive.

About Us:
- We are both in our 30s.
- One roommate currently work 9-5 Mondays through Fridays. She leaves early for work in the morning and sometimes will go to the gym before. She is Paraguayan, raised in NYC.
- The other roommate works in hospitality & typically works evenings/nights. She is Irish.
- We like to keep our apartment very clean. This is very important to us. We don’t cook a lot but when we do, everything is cleaned right after, no dishes left in the sink or food left out overnight.
- We like to keep our apartment as a relaxing space to unwind, we are quiet and respectful of each others different work schedules.
- We respect each others space, but sometimes when our schedules align we hang out.

We are looking for another professional female to join our home. We are looking for someone who is friendly, clean & who is a good communicator. We are looking for someone who works full time, and doesn’t work from home. Proof of income and good credit required. No pets or smoking allowed.
