Large Room Available in Sunny Astoria Apartment

We have a spacious room available in a bright Astoria apartment starting May 1.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a two-story building with a large, sunny kitchen and bathroom. It’s an 8-minute walk to the N/W at Astoria Blvd, with about a 20-minute ride into Manhattan.

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with great neighbors. We’re a short walk to Astoria Park and close to many great bars, restaurants, and cafés.

A little about us:
We’re two women in our early 30s. We enjoy exploring the neighborhood and going out, but the apartment itself is more of a calm place to relax and recharge, never really bringing the party home. We both work demanding jobs (hybrid/WFH) and keep a respectful, considerate atmosphere at home. We’re looking for a roommate who values the same and is comfortable sharing responsibility for keeping common areas clean and helping out with things like taking the garbage out.

* Personal closet located just outside the room in the hallway

Logistics
* Rent: $1100/month
* Security deposit: $1100
* Utilities split evenly (typically ~$100/month, slightly higher in summer)
* No pets per landlord
* Minimum 12 Months, option to extend

Who We’re Looking For
A clean, considerate roommate with a similar lifestyle — ideally a professional with an in-office or hybrid schedule who appreciates a calm home environment. Someone who is mindful of shared spaces and generally keeps things tidy.

Not a dealbreaker, but bonus points if you’re vegetarian :)
