Room for rent in sunny Astoria apartment

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a two-story building with a spacious and bright kitchen and living room. An eight minute walk to the N/W Astoria Blvd train station and just a 20 min ride into Manhattan.

The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, with nice neighbors and a close walk to Astoria park, as well as great bars and restaurants in the growing Astoria neighborhood.

A little about us- we are two females in our early 30’s. We enjoy exploring the neighborhood and going out, but never bringing the party home. We both work demanding hybrid jobs, so we like to relax and recharge when at home. We keep a respectful atmosphere in the apartment and expect the same of a roommate, keeping common areas clean, chipping in with taking the garbage out, etc.

The unfurnished room is large enough to fit a full/queen sized bed, dresser and bookshelf. Access to two personal closets, one inside of the room and one in the hallway. Additional access to communal storage throughout the apartment. The common areas of the apartment are fully furnished.

We all split utilities -generally around $100/ month (usually a little bit more in the summer months).

Apartment is available at a prorated amount beginning June 11. First month’s rent and a security deposit of $900 is required. No pets allowed per request of the landlord.
