Unfurnished rooms for rent in a three-bedroom one-bath apartment:

Room 1 AVAILABLE Oct. 1st, approx. 9.75' by 14', one 2' x 4' and another 2' x 2.5' closet in the room, two standard sized windows face northeast onto large courtyard. Previous roommate has bed and a few other items that may be purchased, otherwise the room will be empty.

[Room 2 NOT AVAILABLE approx. 12'4" x 10'8", one 3.5' x 2' closet in room, two standard sized windows face southeast over fire escape onto the street, amazing morning sunlight, great for plants.]

Fifth-floor walk-up (no elevator) gets relatively decent natural light. One common coat/broom closet in entryway.

Nice-sized common space with decent kitchen, mostly furnished but decoration is encouraged within reason. Hardwood floors throughout. Good amount of space for books. Five-minute walk to 30th Ave N & W station.

Please be respectful of others' sleep/work schedules and be proactive about keeping common spaces clean (a few dirty dishes left in the sink after a hard day at work is fine as long as they don't prevent others from using the kitchen or attract pests). Doing ones' share of the cleaning and chores on rotation or instead hiring a cleaning person at regular intervals is NOT NEGOTIABLE.

Apartment is not really big enough for four. Occasional guests are fine but guests sleeping overnight should be kept to a minimum and with other two roommates' permission. Animal lover but sorry, no pets other than fish, please.

Existing roommates are generally quiet, at work, and keep to themselves, but warm, friendly, committed to peace and compromise. One needs to cook meal prep on days off, (polishing the kitchen afterward). Age/race/gender/etc. unimportant, LGBTQ+ friendly. One cis gay male, one cis queer female.

Be prepared to provide prior to move-in landlord requirements: letter of employment, W2, two month's pay stubs = yearly salary 40x monthly rent, credit score 700 or above, in addition to one month security deposit + first month's rent.
