Room in Astoria

Hello!

I am renting (short-term) a large bedroom in a 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Astoria -- very safe, near lots of shops, laundromats, supermarkets, produce stands, restaurants. It’s extremely convenient to Manhattan, 2 blocks from the N train (30th Ave stop) and 15 minutes to Midtown.

Your room is light and airy, furnished with a twin bed, wool rug, bookcase with baskets (can be used as a dresser), a closet & window that gets a lot of morning light. There is also a curtained nook that I use for storage in that room, but would not need to access while you’re there, so your room is private.

Rent includes internet. We would be splitting the electric bill evenly (cost fluctuates).

There is WiFI and network TV, but no cable TV.

I am temporarily fostering a sweet rescue cat.

I work in book publishing. I’m laid-back, fair, and respectful. I like to keep the space tidy and clean -- nothing overboard, but I'd like us both to keep shared spaces neat and clean.

I’m looking for someone nice, respectful, and employed. I consider my apartment calm and not a place to bring the party home. I'm fully vaccinated/boosted and ask that you are, too!
