About the place
Both bedroom size 13ft by 8ft with a build in closet, unfurnished. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a private house with 3 bedrooms, a large living room, a dining room, and lots of closet space. The shared bathroom; kitchen are spacious and clean. The living room is furnished, yet if you have furniture to bring, that's great (if not, no worries). Monthly utility cost is approximately $60 per person (Electricity + RCN wifi).

About the neighborhood
The apartment is 4 blocks away from the N/Q train 36 Avenue stop (5 min walk), 15 minutes away from midtown Manhattan by train. 15 minutes walk from the 21 St stop off the F train. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We are right across from a school playground; there are supermarkets and restaurants around the corner and throughout our neighborhood, and a convenient laundromat across the street.

About us
I'm a 34yo art director, and the other roommate is a 26yo software developer. We both working full time. When we’re home, we’re very low key and chill. I'm very much on top of keeping the place clean, well organized and sharing responsibility of upkeep with my roommates. We have a good relationship built on open communication, consultation, honesty and respect. It's important to us that new roommate would be active in helping to keep this positive environment going.

What I'm looking for
I'm looking for someone who's easy-going and mature; must be LGBT friendly and open minded. Also someone who's courteous and have common sense when it comes to cleaning up after themselves. I don't mind overnight guests (as long as they're respectful) but don't want a boyfriend/girlfriend as another roommate.

Prefer working individuals who has a full time job, earning a salary. You must have good credit and be financially stable to sign the lease. Have a valid photo ID and proof of employment. 1 year commitment required. First month rent and security deposit to move in. Serious inquiries only.
