Hello!
We are two women in our 30’s looking to fill the third bedroom in our awesome 3bd apartment for Dec 1st. The rent is $985 each, plus about $40-60 each in utilities (internet and electric) each month. The new tenant will need to sign on to the lease with us, the lease period is through the end of September 2021.
The common areas of the apartment are well furnished, large dining table, sectional sofa, 50" TV, plenty of kitchen supplies. We are on the 4th floor and the apartment gets an amazing amount of natural light and has a cool view of both the Triborough and Hell Gate bridges. The available bedroom has hardwood floors, radiator heating, doesn’t share a direct wall with any roommate.
The bedroom has two closets and is about 15'x15'.
One of us is working from home, one out in the world, both of us being COVID-cautious and limiting contact with outside people. We have a cat named Penny, who is sweet but shy. We split the cleaning duties and generally try to be neat and respectful. We are looking for someone mature and chill, who doesn’t bring the party home and will be sure to keep all of us safe by limiting outside socialization for now.
Astoria is a great neighborhood, even in a pandemic. Plenty of high quality takeout, great markets, and a beautiful park. Three blocks from the Astoria Blvd NW train and the M60 into Manhattan. 10 minute car ride to LaGuardia.
