I am renting out one of the rooms in my 2 - bedroom apartment in the heart of Astoria that is currently available.

ABOUT THE ROOM:
This large room has 2 windows facing the street for lots of sunlight. You can fit a queen or king-size bed easily and have a lot of extra space to put other furniture. There is a big closet also available for you. The bedroom has its own air conditioning unit.
We will be sharing the bathroom and a large eat-in windowed kitchen fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and microwave.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The apt is located in the heart of Astoria, two blocks from Steinway M and R trains and five blocks away from 30th Ave N and Q trains. It's a 15-minute ride to Midtown Manhattan, as well as a 10-minute ride to La Guardia Airport. This is a super safe and nice neighborhood, very popular among young professionals. Also, there are tons of awesome food, laundry, coffee shops, groceries, banks right outside the door. The top restaurants in Queens are right here. Steinway and 30th Avenue intersection is one of the most popular areas in all Queens.

WHOM I AM LOOKING FOR:
Someone mature, drama-free, quiet, respectful, responsible and non-smoker that pays on time and is clean and quiet with stable income. Willing to keep the common area clean. This will be perfect for a young professional or student. Available for only one person who must be employed outside of home.

ABOUT THE AGREEMENT:
Rent is $925/month.
Split gas, electricity and internet bills.
First month of rent + security deposit to move in.
Proof of employment along with references.
6 months minimum lease. After that, it will be a month to month agreement with a 30-day notice.
Sorry, but pets are not allowed.
No partying or drugs.

I am a young male working professional - graduate student, very organized, quiet, clean, easygoing, non-smoker, and without pets. I definitely like to keep things clean. I love coffee, wine, tennis, and music.
