Bedroom In Sunny Apartment With Backyard!

We have a bedroom available in our 3 bedroom apartment. The bedroom is 8? x 10? and looks out into a pretty tree lined street, on the top (third) floor of our building. Windows face west, so amazing sunsets. The room is partially furnished with a full sized bed and I also can provide some other pieces if you need. The closet is a deeper style with two rods and above head storage, an there?s additional storage available in the apartment if needed. It?s a very quiet, sunny, peaceful space and in the morning you can open the windows and hear the birds chirping- pretty rare for Nyc!

We are both working students and we like to stay low-key at home. We are seeking someone respectful, clean, chill and kind. Having a clean & sanitary space is important to us so we can come home to a relaxing and chill environment. In all seriousness, this is nyc- so we are looking for someone conscientious like us who washes their hands when they get home from the subway, cleans up after themselves, takes their hair from the shower and doesn?t leave dishes for days. (We?ve all been there with roommates!!). We also really are not wildly social when we get home - we are pretty quiet, and kind of just want to chill out (or we have to study). We are kind, considerate, and communicate well and value each other?s privacy and personal space. So if you feel like you?d like the same with roommates please do send a message!

Rent is $900. We rotate cleaning and split utilities and household supplies three ways. Please note that I?m currently having the room painted and wall fixed so I have to update pictures. More info about the apartment is below (garden, neighborhood , location).

The apartment itself is airy and sunny, a short walk off the Ditmars stop in Astoria, 15 min to manhattan on the N or W. We are also a 5 minute walk from the q100 which goes directly to the upper east side in about 30 mins.

There is a front outdoor area and a large back yard for gardening and enjoying the sun. We have a groundskeeper who plants flowers, sorts the recycling and keeps the place beautiful. Near all the incredible restaurants, shopping and bars/nightlife of Astoria, but on an incredibly serene and quiet block off the main ave. Walking distance to Astoria park which is just amazing in the summer and has a gorgeous Olympic sized pool.
There is parking available in the area. It?s my favorite place in New York City, has a feeling like no other neighborhood!
