Large bedroom in spacious Astoria apartment

I have a large bedroom available for rent in a floor-through, sunny two-bedroom Astoria apartment! The apartment features a comfy formal living room, a galley kitchen (enormous by NYC standards), a separate dining area with a full pantry closet for each occupant, and a full-size bathroom. The available bedroom is a spacious corner room with plentiful storage space facing the quiet rear of the building. There is also a small patio area with a charcoal grill behind the building. The apartment is on a peaceful street, just around the corner from restaurants, bars, shops, and more on Ditmars Boulevard. You can walk in five minutes or less to several grocery stores (one of which is open 24 hours), laundromats, delis/bodegas, Astoria Bakery, and an excellent gym; in ten minutes or less to the Ditmars Boulevard N/W station, food shops, pharmacies (including a 24-hour CVS), and the Queens Library; and in twenty minutes to Astoria Park and Pool (or take a shorter bus ride from the nearest corner to any of the above!)

The common areas are fully furnished and the bedroom is available furnished with a bed, desk, and nightstand or (mostly) unfurnished; either way, there are wall-mounted shelves and an armoire in the room for extra storage space in addition to the roomy closet.

I'm a 33-year-old woman who works full time (approximately 9:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday). I enjoy reading, movies, cooking, baking, lazy weekend afternoons, going to plays and concerts, and exploring neighborhoods, museums, etc. As long as you are considerate and clean, I'm easy to get along with -- I try my best to keep things neat and to keep noise contained to my bedroom or my headphones. I also rarely have visitors to the apartment, and when I do, it tends to be just 1-2 people or a small, daytime gathering on the weekend for brunch and/or board games, always announced in advance.

I'm looking for a roommate who keeps fairly standard hours, cleans up after herself/contributes to keeping up the common areas, is quiet within reason (especially on weeknights), and mostly goes out to socialize/doesn't bring the party home (guests are fine, surprise guests at midnight are not) -- basically, someone's who interested in a relaxing, comfortable space!
