Looking for someone to take over my room in a 2b1b. Very flexible move-in date, anywhere from July 15 - August! Otherwise, it's a year-long lease that ends in June 2027.

This unit is on the 1st floor of a renovated West Philly victorian. $725 a month. Utilities average $70/month, and are about $150 top in the winter. Central AC / heat, and laundry is coin-op one flight of stairs down in the basement. The bedroom has a private entrance to a large shared backyard. No separate closet, but there is a storage shelf built into the wall with a rod for hanging your clothes.

The bedroom will be unfurnished, but can fit a full-sized bed (maybe queen if you're ambitious). The living room and kitchen already come with a couch, TV, dining table and chairs, etc. The kitchen has plenty of storage and room to cook as well!

Transit nearby: ~1 min walk to the 42 bus. ~5 minute walk to the 21 and 64, 8 minute walk to the MFL and T2 / 34 trolley.

About your housemate: You will be living with K, a software analyst in her late 20s who works from home about 10-6 on M-F. She likes reading, watching TV & theater, nature, and volunteering in the West Philly community. She has a very friendly cat named Kirby. No additional pets please.

From K: "I am looking for a roommate who is a woman in her 20s or 30s. I ask that my roommate who keeps the common areas clean and gives a heads up when there’s guests. That’s really it!"

About the building: There are a few other units in the house occupied by young professionals. The walls in the apartment are thick, so you won’t hear them. Our landlord is respectful and communicative, and there have been very few, minor maintenance issues since I've lived here.
