House to Share

Security is one months rent.

I am currently seeking to rent two furnished rooms, in a house in South Philadelphia on a great block. Ample access to multiple forms of public transportation as well as multiple grocery stores.

(Note: the furnished rooms are optional if you have your own furniture)

The first room is larger with a sizable window. The room fits a queen sized bed. For added space, it has a 2nd attached room that can be used for an office and/or additional closet space. $1200. This room is available April 1, with options for early move-in.

The second room fits a full sized bed. It has sizable closet space with some shelving for folded clothing and rods for hanging clothes. $900. This room is available immediately.

The house had a furnished living and dining room, plus a kitchen with a large French door style fridge with a bottom freezer, a gas oven, and a microwave.

There are two bathrooms: a full bath on the second floor where the bedrooms are located, and a half bath in the basement. There is a washer and dryer in the basement.

There is a back patio for enjoying the outside weather, with a beautify tree overhanging that produces lovely spring flowers.

Historically, the utilities have averaged $100/ per person. At this time, that is the expected amount in addition to the rent, as long as utility usage and costs remain the same. Note: this will cover Central Air, Electric, Internet, Gas, and Internet.

There may be some light work occurring on the rest of the house as the house is being refreshed that will not disturb the bedrooms.

I do own a cat, she’s pretty chill, her name is Gumball I am: a 45 year old gay male, I conduct myself based for the most part on routine throughout my work week. The gist, up at 5 am, gym by 6 am, home by 8 am, work at 1130 am till 7 pm, bed by 9/10pm. So typically I spend most times cooking/ meal prep, working out, most times chilling with my cat gaming or streaming. What I am looking: Professional, and fully employed (if remote worker, would prefer hybrid), respectful, communicative, responsible (in what they do, and taking of ownership), honest, willing, most importantly who is clean and cleans up after themselves.
