Hi, there! Andrew, here. I'm renting two third floor rooms and one second floor room in a four bedroom rental house in Olde Kensington at 4th and Jefferson St.
Move in available Jan 1st 2026.
I live on the second floor in the fourth room of the house. I'm mid-forties, white, queer, enby, amab, a musician/composer, and a part-time baggage handler at the airport. In general, the roomies keep the house regular type o’ clean, and mind our own business unless we’re feeling particularly chatty. Guests ok.
The shared space is 1.5 bathrooms with full size bath on the second floor, shared first floor half bath/kitchen/living room/dining room, washer/dryer (free) on the second floor, lovely hardwood floors everywhere, lots of storage/exercise/etc. space in the basement, and cute patio/garden/firepit outside the kitchen on the first floor. Short walk to Septa Market-Frankford line, and lots of Septa bus routes a couple blocks away.
Cost - bigger third floor room is $750 per month total, all utilities included, smaller rooms are $500 per month total, all utilities included. No pets. No first and last or security deposit to move in - just the first month rent to hold the room before you move in. A lease company that owns/manages the property does a routine background/credit check/application online for any new roomies/tenants so that you can be added to the lease - there’s a $60 application fee. It's a yearly shared lease that you have to be on to live here that renews every September.
Disabled/Black & Brown/queer folks given priority.
