We are looking for a roommate to rent a spacious well-lit room in our 3BR/2 bath on the first two floors of a Victorian twin located on a quiet, tree-lined street in University City/West Philly.

Rent is $850 including all utilities (gas (heat/hot water), electric, trash, water, internet). The room is large with a built in closet, arched window, and non-functional hearth. The room gets really nice light in the afternoon - photos don't do it justice, it's a beautiful space.

The room is available June 1. The current housemates are two chill men in our early 30's who work during the day. We are both pretty busy and generally keep to our own schedules, but we do try and do something together occasionally. We are looking​ for someone friendly and empathetic who is reasonably quiet and will commit to keeping common areas clean. Everyone welcome.

More about the house: there is a large common area on the first floor with open living room/dining room and wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen has new appliances, including dishwasher. Off the back of the kitchen is a mudroom with washer/dryer and bike storage. There's a beautiful backyard and a front porch with porch swing. Hardwood floors throughout. There's a backyard with a patio, space for vegetables and a fire-ring. Attic and basement available for a small amount of storage. The house is on a small quiet west-Philly block. It's two blocks from 13 and 34 trolley lines and a block from the 64 bus. Penn West bus stops at corner of 48th and Windsor. Ample on-street parking.
