Large private room & bathroom, shared home.

This large, unfurnished 17x13 foot room is the master bedroom of a 3 bedroom home, with windows that overlook a pleasant view. The attached fully private bathroom and spacious closets, one that is a mini walk in closet, allow for extra storage. Shared areas in the home include a nicely furnished living room, a full kitchen and dining room, as well as a laundry room and furnished outdoor deck. Semi private parking is available immediately in front of the home on a quiet and safe street. The home is just 1 minute from the I-78 Bethlehem exit for easy access to anywhere in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, New York City and Philadelphia. Central air conditioning and heat is electric, and unlimited 5G wireless Internet works throughout the house, including the outdoor deck. Walls of the room are newly painted, a platinum gray with white trim, and gray carpet. The bathroom is a newly painted bright blend of gold and orange.

I live alone with no pets, and I'm easy going. I enjoy music, especially attending music festivals, watching movies, and travelling. I'm fitness minded as I workout almost daily. Although I vape, nothing that creates a lasting odor is permitted within the home. I enjoy meeting new people.

The room has it's own key locked door and will always be private for a housemate. Shared areas of the house are clean, well furnished and orderly at all times, especially the kitchen, where there's a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave refrigerator and other small appliances. Dedicated housemate space is available for storage of shelf stable, refrigerated and frozen food.

Over the years many have rented this room, often friends, or friends of friends, who have stayed without any problems. Sometimes, but it's rare, I'll have a friend stay overnight in a guest room. My basic rule concerning an overnight guest is that we each provide one another with advance notice, and of course that everyone is always respectful. Ideally, I’m looking for at least a one-year commitment, simply because of all the effort involved with moving in and out, but that’s negotiable.
