I'm looking for a respectful, responsible roommate to share my 2-bedroom apartment in Sellwood. This is a good fit for someone who wants a comfortable home in a great neighborhood without the feel of a crowded house or a typical roommate setup.

A Little About Me
I'm a 55-year-old Gen Xer who works, cooks quite a bit, enjoys watching movies and likes having a good social life. I have a close group of friends and am out of the apartment fairly often, so I'm definitely not looking for a roommate who feels like we have to spend all our time together.
I'm a part-time bike commuter, love music that ranges from Social Distortion to Chopin—and pretty much everything in between, and I'm equally comfortable hanging out at the Yamhill Pub or Symphony Hall. I'm also a sports fan, although I promise I'm not turning the apartment into a full-blown sports bar.
I enjoy a good conversation, cooking at home, movies, getting out around Portland and occasionally enjoying an adult beverage—usually at my neighborhood spot, The Yukon Tavern, right across the street.
Basically, I'm a Gen Xer who just wanted a Pepsi.
Who I'm Looking For
I'm hoping to find someone mature, clean, considerate and financially responsible who wants a drama free, comfortable peaceful place to live.
I'd especially like someone who:

Cleans up after themselves
Respects shared spaces
Is comfortable living with someone who has an active social life
Is looking for a stable living situation rather than a party house
I'm happy to share the apartment and be friendly, but I also value everyone's privacy and independence. I'm not looking for a best friend or someone who needs constant interaction—just someone who is comfortable sharing a home, communicating well and being considerate of the person they're living with.
