Nice Room in the Hawthorne area

The rooms here are perfect for both long-term stays, and for short term stays of up to to 3 months at a slightly higher rate. Or you can start off with a short-term stay and convert to a long term stay at any time.

The room available now is a medium-size room with a smaller adjoining room next to it for, for a total of $950. The adjacent smaller room can act as a great office space. Together they are 230 sq. ft. And the room shares a bathroom with just one other person.

This brightly-lit room comes furnished, with linens included. The house has a fantastic WiFi fiber optic network, central air-conditioning and TV with 100 live channels of YouTube TV. You can also put the YouTube TV app on your phone, tablet or laptop while here. The room has a lock so you would have a key for that and one for the house, although the house has a keypad key for ease of entry. There is also a free 4 ft x 8 ft lockable storage locker in the garage for each room.

The house itself has hardwood floors throughout, and has a large fully-equipped kitchen with lots of designated space for your food, two refrigerators with ice makers, a living and dining room, a beautiful covered patio area out back and a back yard. We also have an outdoor barbeque and a shed for your bike. Washer and dryer provided at no cost. We also provide lots of household necessities such as laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.. We have maid service for the common areas every two weeks.

The neighborhood is close-in...on the close-in eastside, just 2 miles to the river, then cross the bridge and you're downtown. Buses run every 12 minutes. Buses run east and west and north and south. The Division bus features all-door boarding, travel in dedicated transit lanes and has traffic signal priority to keep trips faster. There are shops, restaurants and food carts a few blocks away. The grocery stores are about a mile away. Very walkable, safe, quiet and beautiful.

We want great people here. We do not want people with drinking or drug habits. We have all age groups here, and it's great for seniors too. No overnight guests without permission. Smoking is ok outside. We want a safe, quiet, clean, affordable happy house for all to enjoy. Very professionally run...you won't have to live with kids, pets or weird rules. The landlord doesn't live here, but he stops by frequently and is very accommodative.

The rate is $950 a month, all utilities included...with a $500 deposit with good credit. This is for stays of three months or longer. If you are just needing a room for a short stay in our city, such as for three months, the rate is $1195 a month. We also require a quick background check unless you already have one.

Parking is on-street and always available. We also have two off-street parking spots for small cars. But the neighborhood is so close-in, you hardly need a car. Please no pets.
