975 Two Bedrooms Upstairs, Come be our Ringo

Hi there, future roommate!

We have two rooms available upstairs in our home in Portland's Piedmont neighborhood!

The house is located near several major bus lines, within walking distance of the Dekum Triangle, close to both the Alberta Arts District and Mississippi Avenue, and, most importantly... a Taco Bell. 🌮

Rent for the upstairs is $975 per month, plus utilities, which are split evenly among the residents. Winter is typically the most expensive time of year, and utilities usually come out to around $150 per person, give or take. Move-in is first-month's rent and a security deposit of $975.

The upstairs includes two rooms that are each about 150 square feet, along with a landing that's about 100 square feet. There's also a ton of storage available upstairs. You'll have a parking spot in the driveway and will share the main floor bathroom with one other roommate. The rooms are unfurnished.

A little about us:

You'd be living with two quiet forty-somethings. Jhon and I have been friends for nearly 20 years and have lived together on and off for about five of them.

We're both into music and video games. We've both played in bands before. Jhon still plays music regularly, while I've traded my guitars for board games and books.

Jhon is self-employed and is building up his flooring business. I work for a large logistics company and hope to move into the public sector in the near future.

I usually have to be up around 4:30 a. m. to get to work by 6:00 a. m., while Jhon has a more flexible schedule.

Neither of us drinks much or parties. We both have partners, so you'll occasionally see them around. Sometimes we'll be at their place, and sometimes they'll spend the night here.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with values similar to ours. We'd much rather live with someone who wants roommates than someone who simply needs a place to sleep.

We're hoping to find someone who is:

Friendly and considerate
Quiet
Clean
Willing to pitch in around the house
Looking for a longer-term place to call home

We'd also prefer a single occupant and someone who's closer to our age.
