Come share a big spacious downstairs unit with us!

I am moving into the lower unit of a spacious 1913 house that was recently renovated. There is a medium-sized bedroom available. It has built-ins, good closet space, and access to a large bathroom that can be made mostly/entirely private for you. The house has a large living room and dining room, good sized kitchen, basement area, and basement “tv den”. There is a large front porch and backyard with lots of potential. Overlook Neighborhood, especially this corner, is a little gem in the city. It’s very quiet and safe. We are walking distance to two parks, Mississippi avenue, and lots more.

You would be sharing the home with me (working professional) and my daughter (elementary school age), so I’m looking for someone who is responsible, respectful, and comfortable living in a family environment. She is with me 4ish nights a week. She and I will be in the basement rooms. Our lifestyle is busy, intellectually curious, food always cooking, plenty of art projects happening, trying to optimize while also surviving it. We are not minimalist or perfectly tidy people, but we are also not messy or chaotic. We keep things reasonably clean and expect a roommate who contributes equally to basic cleaning and upkeep.

Me: Working professional trying to survive the solo parenting life as of the last two years. I am fairy self-aware and emotionally perceptive. Humor is key for me. Her: Wickedly sharp, highly creative, and energetic magical human.
