Cheerfiul, Peaceful Women's Household

WE ARE a household of three friendly, independent, mature professional women, sharing a lovely, well maintained, four-bedroom, three-bath home in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood. We are hoping to find another woman who shares some of our interests and who would like to join us in creating an enjoyable home together. We are hoping for someone who is looking for long-term shared housing and who will stay a minimum of a year, possibly many years.
AVAILABLE MAY 1: Large (approximately 20' x 20') carpeted daylight basement room and private bath with windows facing west, north and east and a separate entrance through a side patio, as well as an interior entrance to the rest of the house. The room can be rented unfurnished, furnished or partially furnished, as you prefer.
WE SHARE the living room with gas fireplace, dining room, large kitchen and breakfast area, deck, gardens, large main floor bathroom with soaking tub, high-speed internet, washer, dryer and two refrigerators. Each person has a good-sized section of the kitchen cupboards and drawers and half of a refrigerator for her own use.
SHARED UTILITIES including gas, electric, water, garbage and sewage, Ridwell, wi-fi, and shared lawn maintenance service, and shared occasional housecleaning service average $150 a month per person in addition to the basic rent. ($850 rent + $150 utilities = $1,000 per month total cost).
GARDENING: You may join in the gardening if you like, but it is not required. (Help is always appreciated!)
CONVENIENT TO MAX, bus lines, and a 10-15 minute drive to the airport or downtown. There is a driveway spot for parking as well as plenty of curbside parking (it's a corner lot). There is a safe, screened-in area for bicycle parking.
WE ARE A NON-SMOKING, NON DRUG-USING household (including no marijuana). Use of alcohol is kept to very occasional and moderate use of wine or beer when entertaining. In consideration for each other’s privacy, we have an agreement not to bring sexual activity into the house. We are a politically progressive, environmentally conscious, self-responsible, mindful and peaceful household and hope to find a woman to be our housemate who shares our values and would be a good fit of personalities.
MOVE-IN COSTS are first and last month's rent, plus a $200 refundable deposit against final utilities and/or damage, for a total of $2,200. We request at least 30 days' notice (60 days preferred) when planning to move out.
