Cozy house near forest park with a room for rent!

Hello!

We have one room available in a safe and secluded area across the river from St. Johns in the Forest Park area. The house is fully furnished with the exception of the bedroom for rent. There are two bedrooms on the main level, one of which we use as a work space as we stay upstairs. The bathroom is in between the two rooms in a small hallway. We both work in the service industry and have artistic hobbies.

This is an older Cape Cod style house with hard wood floors and great views of the Willamette river and surrounding mountains. We have a secluded terraced yard with a picnic table, an above ground basement with washer/dryer and extra storage space. We also have a small detached garage for extra storage or could potentially be utilized as a workshop or artist space.

We are very close to several Forest Park trailheads and a short drive to Sauvie Island. The house is just 7 miles (15 minute drive) from downtown Portland and is a mile from the St. Johns neighborhood. We are within walking distance to Linnton where you will find gas stations, 7-11, and other quaint businesses. Convenient access to Trimet (Route 16 stops just below the house).

The room will be available June 1st, (potentially sooner).

Rent is $700 a month.
Utilities are shared equally and average $130 each month.
Asking for first and last months rent plus a $200 security deposit to move in.
Prefer to have someone stay six months or more.

Sorry but No pets allowed or couples sharing the room.
