THE ROOMS:
- 2 north facing rooms.
- Closets in both rooms
- Bedroom (10’x9’ 8” (96 sq ft) + closet area) is located directly across from the private bathroom and has space for a queen size bed, large TV, and dresser.
- Larger room (16.5’x11’ 10” (195.25 sq ft) + (3’x11’ 10” (35.5 sq ft) closet/storage space) is located adjacent to laundry room & shared living space: has room for private office, private TV room, 2 large couches, etc.
-Private bathroom (44.32 sq ft) has a shower/tub.

THE DETAILS:
- LGBTQIA friendly
- Rent $1100/mo.
- Utilities $250/mo includes: high-speed internet, water, gas, electric, & garbage.
- $1000 deposit + first month's rent/utilities ($2350 total - utilities can be paid over first month).
-$400 non-refundable deposit/pet.
- Month-to-month lease.
- Single occupancy room.
-MUSTS: must be ok with animals (dog & cat live indoors and 5 chickens outdoors), must be ok with dogs as current resident is a full time pet sitter
-NOs: no full time partiers (occasional late nights/party nights ok. If you party nightly, this is not a good fit). Riki will not be available to watch your pets without compensation.
-Preferences (If you have pets): Due to the nature of current residents business, dogs must be properly socialized, trained, and well behaved around other animals. Cats must be ok around dogs.

THE PEOPLE:
Two creative mellow adults looking for a housemate to join our comfortable, friendly home.

Riki = she/her, queer, food enthusiast, animal nerd, entrepreneur, and the pet sitter - likes to cook, go for walks, and house plants.
Crow = he/him, super sweet and friendly, landscape worker by day, student by night - likes dry farming, gardening, fruit trees.

THE HOUSE:
- The Creston Cul De Sac = bright and open 1100+sq ft single story house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Central AC, a big yard, lots of garden space, open floor plan, on site washer/dryer, covered patio, and storage shed.
- Located near SE 42nd and Center St. Creston Park is a short walk (less than ½ mi) from the house.
- It's quiet and friendly on our block, and in the house.
- Off street parking spot for your car.
- In house/shed storage space available.

THE NORM:
A few things to know about life at the Creston Cul De Sac...

1. Food is HUGE, and the kitchen here is busy. We cook quite a bit at home, so keeping the kitchen clean and functional day to day for everyone is a priority.

2. Riki’s full time profession is pet care. That means, she works with other people’s dogs in our home. She works from home and hosts dogs in our home. If you do not like dogs, this is not a good fit. She provides training, walks, daycare, and overnight (boarding) services. She is in and out of the house throughout the day providing walk services to her clients. She has regular daycare clients throughout the week and caps the number of daycare clients at 2 dogs max per day. She has a cap of 2 dogs max for boarding at any given time. This means if she is fully booked for daycare and boarding she could be hosting up to 4 dogs during the day; however, this is rarely the case.

3. TV is enjoyed in the evenings to unwind from the day. There is a TV in the shared living space. You are, of course, invited to enjoy whatever media entertainment you want in your private space, but if you enjoy watching shows together that is absolutely welcome. If you like it loud, we ask that you use headphones when enjoying movies or music in your private space, and we'll do the same. If there is ever an issue with the volume of the TV in the shared space please let us know! That being said, rock out if you're home alone, and a shared movie night is always welcome!

4. We enjoy hosting friends for dinner. We typically host a dinner 1-2 times/month on the weekends. We also enjoy participating in RPG games with friends. Currently we are not hosting any games in our home, however, we may host a game in the future. This would take place every 2 weeks typically.

5. Safety is a must. We live in an ever-changing city, and keeping our home safe and secure is important for our mental/emotional/physical health. This means NOT leaving the burners on/unattended, and double checking that all the doors and windows are locked at night and every time you leave the house.

6. Good communication is a must. Riki and Crow share honest, direct communication with each other. We are proactive, friendly, and check in often/as needed. We will look for, and expect, the same kind of honest and direct communication from our new housemate. This means being able to talk about and work through normal shared household stuff like chores, noise, money, visitors, etc without too much awkward squirming.
