Large Room Available in Shared House - St John's

General Info: Large Room in 4 Bedroom/2 Bathroom House in St. John’s. Room open May 1st. Would like to get someone in by May 15th at the latest. Rent $850. Utilities split between the household tend to come out to 75-100 a person on average. The lease is currently month to month but all current roommates are planning to stay for at least the next 12 months and would like to get someone who is also looking for longer-term housing. Deposit is $650.

House is split over 2 floors - Main floor of house has 3 bedrooms (1 available, 1 occupied as a bedroom, 1 used as an office), 1 large bathroom (used by 2 upstairs bedrooms only), living room and kitchen. Basement level has 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom, smaller kitchen/living area, and laundry room. Big front and back yard with ample space for gardening, back sun deck and covered patio off the garage. Central air and heating. In home washer and dryer.

Room: This room is on the ground floor/upper level near the back of the house. Large corner room (only shared wall is with office room), with sliding doors out to deck/backyard and two large windows looking into back/side yard), large closet with sliding doors. Plenty of room for large bed plus desk and other furniture. Room is down the hall from the bathroom (shared with 1 ground floor roommate).

Quiet neighborhood, close to multiple grocery stores, restaurants/food truck park within walking distance. Right off Willamette, easy access to Cathedral Bridge, Columbia, I-5. Bus routes 44 and 75 within a few blocks. Private driveway and ample street parking.

Housemates: 3 people ranging from early 30's to early 40's, leftist, queer, all trans/genderfluid. We all have hobbies/creative practices that keep us busy and in our own areas of the house but we also come together as a household to share meals (3 omnivores), play games, and sometimes go out to events together. We pitch in collectively to clean common areas and strive for open communication on all house topics. We work a mix of from home and elsewhere (general work schedules range from 8am-8pm). wee friendly, 1 smoker who only smoke in backyard away from house. 3 female cats (indoor/outdoor, 2 live in the basement, 1 upstairs). Unfortunately, not open to any more pets at this point.
