Hey there!

My name is Paige and I’m looking to fill a room in our 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home in the Beaumont district of Portland! One of the girlies that was living here is now moving out somewhat suddenly, so we are looking to fill her spot sooner than later. The rent cost on your end would be $1,000 per month, plus utility split. This is a one year (12 month) lease that renews October 15th. The girl that's moving out is planning to be fully out on October 1st, so it's possible you can move in as early as then, but we can guarantee you would be good to move in by October 15th at the absolute latest. There is no deposit you need to worry about and we would only need you to pay half of that first month’s rent.

About the house
Big kitchen with updated appliances. (microwave, decent sized fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven)
Spacious living room space with a good amount of natural light.
Large fenced in backyard with patio space that is super cute and a great chill (or smoke) spot.
Garage that we mostly just use as, like, bulk storage for whatever stuff you have but don’t have a spot for.
In unit washer and dryer. (and they work quite well)
Central AC and Heating. (its so nice)
2 car driveway with a ton of open street parking.
Gigabit fiber internet. (its fast)

About the neighborhood
It's a pretty quiet little spot. Most of the folks that live around here are parents with kiddos or old retired people.
Multiple grocery stores nearby.
Super convenient corner store, just across the street.
Some decent little food spots, a cozy cafe, liquor store, and some bars all in walking distance.
A few little parks nearby. (and a graveyard if that's your thing)

About the two people still living here
I’m Paige. I’m 29 and trans (MtF). I work a full time hybrid job that has me working from home a few days a week. I’m a computer nerd, love spending all my money on tattoos, and shower in the mornings. I also have a husky who is a little sweetie once he gets to know you, sheds a lot (don’t worry I vacuum regularly), and absolutely loves the back yard.
The other girlie is Aspen. She’s 26 and also trans. She has a full time hybrid job as well which means she’ll be around a few days a week during the day. She’s a big video gamer (PC and Playstation) and will ramble about Final Fantasy 14 for hours if you let her. She doesn't use the kitchen past microwaving leftovers, smokes in the backyard, loves hitting up Coffin Club on the weekends, and is an evening showerer.

About the bedroom
It's upstairs (two level house, all the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs) and just across the hall from the main bathroom.
Has a window that looks into the backyard.
Decent sized closet.
Room dimensions 9’7” (115 inches) by 11’3” (135 inches)

Extra stuff
We are a Queer home (two trans women) and are looking for femmes and/or queers to move in. Not looking for any cis-het men. (Sorry!!!)
The landlord (Ryan) has been a pretty solid landlord for the year that we’ve been here. He isn't part of some big corporate thing, and is just a guy with a family that lives here in town. Any time we’ve had issues, he has come over to look at it within 24 hours and we’ve never had any issues with him.
The yard work is all handled by a yard work company that is paid for by the landlord, so nothing to worry about there.
There are pets in the home, so folks with pet allergies may have a bad time here.
We are totally down for you to move in with your pet(s).
The landlord will make you do a little credit check thing, before he’ll let you sign the lease and move in and stuff.
