Here’s a little about us: Molly works in freelance marketing. She enjoys attending her local church, working out and crashing when she's not working long hours. Sarah works in the back office for a local pest control company. She enjoys spending time with her brother, sis-in-law and nephews, and is home most evenings during the week. We're both very involved in our church, and if we're not at home, that's probably where you'll find us. Our third roommate is moving out and trying to find someone to take over her lease. Her room will be available March 1st, and our lease ends July 31st. You have the option to renew after that.
We are looking for a female roommate in her mid-20s to 50s who is committed to their church and is employed full-time. Ideally, we would like a roommate who is respectful of personal space, comfortable with sharing common space, and open to discussing shared responsibilities(we enjoy a clean kitchen lol). We also enjoy hosting book clubs/brunches/dinners for our friends, so if you're interested in joining in, we'd love that!
Our house is located in Southeast Portland, very close to the Trader Joe’s on 82nd. It’s an old, charming house with three bedrooms and one bathroom. We've got a cute kitchen and living room, and all the necessary appliances: fridge, freezer, washer, dryer and dishwasher. The backyard has a grill and a firepit, and we've got gardening space on the long the side of the house, as well as some raised beds in the back. The bedroom that will be available is an ADU style space in the backyard that was originally built as a work-from-home office. It's unattached to the rest of the house, so you'll have a private entrance to your room.
Our landlords are kind, so rent is $700 which includes garbage and wifi. Utility costs vary month to month, but electric, water and gas average out to $100 a month. Security deposit is $600.
