I’m renting out my furnished guest bedroom in our 3-bedroom, 1-bath home (2 if you count the creepy basement bathroom, lol). Two stories, lots of character, and yes — it’s an old house, so it comes with very old house shit 😂 (nothing unsafe, just charm and quirks).
A little about the home:
Large kitchen
Dining room has been repurposed as a workout room / office
Shared living room (only TV in the house is here — if you’re a big TV person, you may want your own)
Shared common areas, including workout room
About me & the household:
I have an 11-year-old son
One dog — standard poodle, hypoallergenic 🐩
Calm, respectful, real-life household vibes
The room:
Furnished guest bedroom
Jack-and-Jill layout — we use a privacy divider, which is what guests have used for the last 10 years with no issues
There is flexibility to switch rooms if you’d prefer more separation — happy to talk that through
You’ll just need to bring a lamp/lighting
The details:
$1,100/month
Includes gas, electric, Wi-Fi, water, sewage & trash
Short-term stays preferred, but open to the right long-term fit
Important notes:
Preferably female
No cats
Must have consistent income & proof of employment
