Private Room/Bathroom in Charming Northside Home

Private bedroom/bathroom available in our 3 bed / 2.5 bath home in Northside.

Home is walkable to bars/restaurants/shops in the Northside Business District, and to nature trails at Parker Woods, Buttercup Valley, and Spring Grove Cemetery.

$800/month – utilities included. 12 month lease preferred but willing to go month-to-month at a higher monthly rate.

Bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished. Home includes on-site, upstairs laundry, a large front porch, a backyard with a firepit, friendly neighbords, and ample basement storage (if needed).

Home is occupied just by ourselves - Kat and Trevor - newlyweds who purchased the home in July 2023. We met each other while living in Nashville; she’s originally from California, and he grew up in Toledo, OH. We say that we ‘dumb-lucked’ our way into the house - it unexpectedly fell into our budget in our top neighborhood, but it honestly bigger than we need for the two of us (hence the room for rent).

Trevor works from our home office as a software consultant, but travels approximately ~1 week a month for work. Kat works locally as a vet assistant and is in school part-time to become a vet tech.

We’re friendly but relatively introverted; we enjoy bar trivia, board games, movie nights, and traveling.

We’re both progressive, queer-friendly. We’re looking for someone with shared values - if you can’t say “Fuck ICE” with your whole chest, we’re probably not the right fit for you.

We also have three pets - a miniature dachshund, Dot; a three-legged foster-fail cat, George; and a parakeet, Jellybean. Your pets are welcome, assuming they are friendly with other animals and up-to-dates on shots/vaccines.
