Two bedroom apartment with five rooms in total. I am a roomate, you would be the other. Washer and dryer are in basement. There is great light throughout. Piermont is a very safe village, and a block away is our quaint but active downtown. Just five minutes from Bergen County, NJ, 20 minutes from the George Washington Bridge, NYC, and 12 minutes from Westchester, ideal for those working at all major hospitals. There are great restaurants, the best local club for live music, gorgeous views of the Hudson River, a rowing club, outdoor Pickle Ball courts, boat docks, and Tallman Mountain State Park for hiking and swimming. The backyard of the apartment is steps away from the Hudson River. This is a friendly, eclectic town that attracts NYC cyclists and tourists on the weekends, but is quieter during the week with locals dropping in at the restaurants/ bars for a drink or bite to eat. A very easy place to meet people, it’s a hip town populated with lots of artists - from painters, film industry people, musicians, etc.. due to its close proximity to NYC. Many Brooklyn and NYC transplants live here. Ideally you're a considerate, trusting roomate. A TIDY, quiet person (but active) is preferred. I occasionally care for dogs, so one must be tolerant of that. I enjoy reading, drinks/dinner at nearby restaurants with friends, and doing my art work. I work outside of the home five days a week mixed hours, and I'm an active volunteer in this town. Respect the space, keep a nice place.
