Cozy Private Room for Rent

Hello!

I am looking for someone to takeover the rest of my lease starting July 1 with the option to renew on Jan 1, 2025 for a 12 month lease contract. The rent will increase by 3-5% upon renewing Jan 1, 2025. Move in date can be flexible, earliest I can move out is June 1, but July 1 works as well.

Rent for this room is $850/month not including utilities. Utilities average about $50 a month for WiFi, water, electricity. Heat is included in monthly rent. Deposit would be $850.

The room is a cozy room with great afternoon light, it can fit a queen sized bed and has a closet for storage. The room will come unfurnished.

The apartment in general gets good sunlight throughout the day, we're on the second floor of a townhome in Woodside, Queens, 3 bedrooms, 1 shared bathroom, full kitchen, dining and TV area. We are located in a safe residential neighborhood, short walking distance to the 7 train & LIRR, short commute into Manhattan, laundry is at the end of the street, there are many grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance along Roosevelt Ave. This is a non-smoking, drug-free residence and no pets. Our landlord is friendly and easy to work with.

The other roommates, Gale and Aliya, are females in their early 30's; they are friendly and easy-going.
