Big Sunnyside Bedroom

Hello! My bf (Sebastian) and I are looking for a FEMALE roommate to fill a bedroom in our 2-bedroom apartment.
The move-in date is June 1st, 2024 with a monthly rent of $1600 due at the beginning of each month. Move in would require $1600 (first month’s rent) + $1600 (security deposit).

Our building is newly renovated with modern finishes. Our apartment has an in-unit laundry and washer and a dishwasher. The room has a huge closet and can comfortably fit a full or queen sized bed that can fit a a desk, dresser, small bookcases, and even a TV.

What we’re looking for in a roommate:
- Must have a stable source of income along with proof (last 3 month’s paystub).
- Must be willing to sign a roommate agreement (not a lease).
- Must be responsible and be able to pay the monthly rent and utilities (WiFi and electric will be split equally 3 ways) on time.

- Must be in their mid 20s to early 30s.
-Must be considerate of each other, be communicative, and respect each others’ boundaries.
-Must be considerate of the living space, keeping most areas clean and tidy and willing to participate in a cleaning schedule.
-Must desire and be willing to contribute to a safe, calm and clean home environment.
-Does not invite too many people over often.
- Must be comfortable living with a cat as she is nosey and loves chilling and exploring the whole apartment.
-Someone who works a regular 9-5 in person and is either a night owl or a deep sleeper would be a great fit for us!

About Us:
We are definitely night owls and will spend time from 11pm-2am watching tv, showering and even cooking sometimes. We enjoy trying new restaurants, bouldering, watching tv shows, and trying new fun things. We enjoy playing music out loud occasionally and try to cook occasionally. We sometimes bring friends over and like hosting events which we would love for you to join us in.

Sebastian works and studies full time, so is mostly at home during the day and is home late at night. Joelle works remotely and is at home most of the time. Koko (our cat) sleeps a lot and is a sweetheart. She is not the most active cat but loves attention and snuggles when she is comfortable with you. She is hungry all the time and loves to talk. She is very great cat and is so silly!

The building is located in Sunnyside. Sunnyside has many restaurants, cafes, delis, supermarkets, and bars within a short walking distance. There is a supermarket just a few mins from our building. The closest train station is the 40th-Lowery St train station on the 7 train line which is a short 10 minute walk.
