Unfurnished bedroom (non-flex) available ASAP in a 3-bed, 2-bath luxury apartment building in LIC!

• RENT:

$1770 (+ $20/mo wifi fee and utilities, which differs each month but tends to average around $50/mo)

• HOW LONG?

Short or Long-term sublet are both available. Minimum stay is 2 months, maximum stay is 11 months (until the end of April 2025), with potential option to renew.

• WHERE?

Long Island City (Queens), on Center Blvd. Closest Subway Line/Station: Line 7 / Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave (approx. a 7-min walk away from the buliding). One stop away from Grand Central station in manhattan.

• WHEN?

June 1st move-in (date negotiable, but ideally no later than June 15th!)

• WHO ARE WE?

You'll have three roommates (I'm the one that is in the flex-bedroom whom you'll be sharing a bathroom with. I am 27 years old, work full-time in marketing (2 days in office, 3 from home), and I've lived in NYC almost 9 years now. The other two are my friends Annie (29 yo) and Jack (30 yo) (and we were already friends before we became roommates)! They live in the master bedroom which has a private bathroom, so the only area we share together is the kitchen/common area. They also have a 7 yo cat named Arya who stays in their room (I'm fairly allergic so the cat only stays in their space), and since that is the case it pretty much feels like there isn't actually a pet in the apartment. I know that there can be hesitancy around living with a couple (understandably so), but I've known them both for years and can guarantee that your expected concerns can most likely be resolved (I won't go super in-depth here, but please feel free to ask any questions about this. I bet I had the same worries/questions before I moved in with them but none of my concerns turned out to be issues!) Jack works in tech (he's usually in office 4 or 5 days a week), and Annie is currently a PhD student but will begin teaching at Harvard in July (so she'll be splitting her time between NYC and Massachusetts).

• WHO ARE YOU?

Since the prospective roommate is someone that I will be sharing a bathroom with, I'm ideally looking for a female similar to myself (mid-late 20s, works full-time). I'm hoping to find someone who is respectful/communicative, clean (our roommates and I have a weekly schedule for the common area and I like to keep the bathroom extra-tidy) and appreciates quiet-time (we all try and use headphones/earphones as much as possible), especially at night. Your bedroom will be unfurnished so you'll have your own furniture, and we are not looking for any more pets (due to my aforementioned allergies). No smokers, please!

• BONUS points go to candidates who are able to provide a security deposit (one month's rent)!! It will of course be returned to you upon your departure, as long as the room is left in good condition. (This is regardless of the length of the sublet/stay).
