Hi! I have a large (larger than master) double room with queen bed available in the West Village. Furnished with bed and two dressers, plus a full-sized cupboard. Top two floors of a townhouse, close to all the bars and restaurants of the area (on the doorstep!) and a 2 minute walk to the PATH (New Jersey), 5 minute walk to Christopher St subway, 8 minute walk to West 4th St subway. SoHo, FiDi, TriBeCa are about 10-15 mins away on the subway, Midtown about 20 mins away. The Hudson river is three blocks away for morning runs / dogwalks.
We have a little outdoor space and a glorious terrace, and the apartment itself is ca. 1,500 sq ft. In total, there are three bedrooms - I have the master and the third is kept free for visitors. The kitchen is sizeable with a four-top stove and a grill, with working oven.
I'm a professional, working in finance in Midtown, pretty sociable, very tidy, and travel a fair amount - I come from the UK and I'll be in New York for the forseeable future. I'm looking for someone on a Monday to Friday, room-only basis - ideally someone commuting into the city during the week looking for a pied-a-terre.
