Small basement room in awesome apt w private patio

Room open June 1st.

$1200/mo + 150 utilities* = $1350

Must love dogs, can't own cats or ferrets, or pigs, or goats or birds- fish ok. Maybe one super special dog that our dude gets along with, with addl rent tbd with fair consideration of the dog

The room is so small it doesn’t photograph well. There is a queen loft with a 1 year old mattress and below there used to be a loveseat but now is a twin mattress we absorbed from our last roomate. Either can change depending on what the next occupant wants.

This is the smallest room in our duplex apartment, its on basement floor and is opening up oct 1. The room is very small. There is a 42" flat screen wall mounted with an appletv and small desk under it across from the loft bed.

Upstairs is kind of a different world on the first floor. The living room has a 60" flatscreen and surround sound system and overlooks our private patio. This is the gem of our home. The kitchen has a small bar that overlooks the living room and our patio of course. Sitting on the far bench in the back patio and looking at someone in the kitchen puts you about 40’ away from them.

Upstairs our other roommate lives in a separate room off the living room. Both floors have a bathroom although only the bathroom on the first floor has a shower /tub. The basement floor has a half bath with a bidet attachment which might just change your life.

We also live with my dog. He lives in the back patio and has a year round heated doghouse. I rescued him with a spinal cord injury and he has incontinence. He has to wear a diaper when inside but usually is only inside at night in our room or in his crate. This a a big wonderful apartment in the best neighborhood I've ever lived in- 3 blocks from the express train 1-2-3 subway 72nd st station and one block from fairway, 3 blocks from Trader Joe’s, 1/2 block to riverside Park. it's awesome living here.

Also, we have cable TV, appletv, an xbox one, a dishwasher, a microwave, a stainless steel oven and an air fryer; we have coin op laundry in the building and of course internet and wifi. * The 150 for utils include: Elec, gas, water, cable tv, internet and wifi. Add'l shared expenses include TP, paper towels, dish washer detergent, garbage bags, hand soaps, potentially participating in a cleaning person and other various stuffs. The cleaning person comes every other Tuesday. The right person that fits will just buy stuff like this as needed. We all take turns.

We are looking for someone with good vibes. Please have at least one roomate reference and one landlord reference. If we choose to meet w you please don’t bring your mom.
