3 month sublease in LES! May 1st-July 31st

Hello! My name is Nithya and I’m looking for someone to sublease my room in my apartment in the Lower East Side from May 1st to July 31st (the end of the lease). The apartment is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath on Essex ST in LES, right on the F, M,J, and Z lines at Delancey-Essex Station. It’s a ~10 min walk to Trader Joe’s/Target, with Essex Market across the street also a great place for groceries, and ~20 minute walk to NYU campus. Super close to SoHo, East Village, and Chinatown as well! The area has so many good bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

The room that you would be moving into is relatively large, able to fit a full/aueen bed with room for a night stand and desk and extra room to spare. The closet is able to fit a good amount, with two shelves on top. I’m good with throwing in my bedframe and desk as well at no additional cost. The rest of the apartment is completely furnished. There is laundry in the basement of the building, accessible with an elevator. The apartment is on the second floor, right at the top of the stairs. The trash room is inside the building, with secured mailboxes as well.

Rent is $2000/month (due on the 1st), with heat and water included. Electricity ranges from 50-60$ a month, and you’ll venmo that bill to my roommate as she has the ConEd account. You can Venmo the rent payment to me as well.

My roommate Emily (25) works from home as an engineer, and she has an adorable dog named Benji!
