Let us tell you why we love our home so much.

First of all, the apartment is gorgeous. Harlem's spacious railway-style apartments are a rare find these days! Set on the top floor, this apartment comes with 13-foot ceilings with lots of windows and light. Over the years we have furnished it with a lot of care, and it comes stocked with everything you might need.

Your room is located in a 4-bedroom apartment at the end of the hall (three roommates in total). Furnished with queen-size bed and desk with desk chair; high ceilings with 2 large closets.

The building is located at the intersection of 148th and Broadway. 5th floor walk up, with access to the roof!

The location is absolutely perfect: minutes from the 1/A/C/D/B lines, and surrounded by a variety of grocery stores. The block where we are located is without a doubt the most popular block in Washington Heights, boasting The Chipped Cup (the area's most popular coffeeshop), Handpulled Noodle (award winning restaurant), and The Honeywell (famous cocktail bar). Summer in NYC is never far from our block -- although the noise hardly travels up five floors to disturb you. Everyone in the block knows one another, so it is very easy to feel a part of a community. The apartment also comes with rooftop access, with amazing city views.

Shared amenities in the apartment include a dishwasher, in-suite washing machine (no dryer), AC unit in the living room, wifi, and a Roku TV connected to a projector in the living room. Extremely close to the train! We're at the 145th Street station on the 1/A/C/F/D. 5th-floor walk-up on a great block with lots of food options and fantastic nightlife.

This apartment is an absolute gem, and our beloved sanctuary. You will notice the touches of love and care in every corner of it and we are looking for someone who can appreciate it.

About us:
We are two PhD students who are embarking on our year-long field research and looking to have the three bedrooms sublet by clean and conscientious people. Our lease is up in August, so there you are welcome to extend your stay, we just don't know yet how much our rent will change.

We are looking for someone who
- is responsible, and can clean up after themselves (you have to be able to represent yourself honestly on this because it just won't work out if you aren't diligent about cleanliness -- i. e., wear shoes in the house, etc.)
- does NOT work from home
- is BDS compliant (including amazon packages!)
