OFFERING HOUSING: JUNE 1st move in - West Harlem

1 room open in 2 bed/1 bath, $1,170/month + utilities, Hamilton Heights/West Harlem (West 149th St), 5min walk from A/C/D/B/1 trains. I’ve lived here for a year, current roommate is moving out and I’m looking for someone to sign on for another year with me! Preferably looking for other queer/LGBTQ+ folks, or LGBTQ+ friendly. Not interested in couples.

Move in requirements: 1st months rent ($1,170), security deposit ($1,170), and be approved through building application process (income & employment verification, credit check, etc).

About the apartment: Apt is on 2nd floor of a 6-floor elevator building, laundry in basement. Utilities + WiFi average $100/month per person depending on weather. The open bedroom has two big windows with lots of sunlight (NE facing), and it’s on the opposite side of the apartment from my bedroom so good amount of privacy as well. Bedroom is around 14x11 ft big (not exact, it’s likely a bit bigger but not a square room) can fit Queen bed comfortably. There’s no closet but there’s plenty of space for a wardrobe. Radiator heat and window ACs in the summer. Most of the furniture is staying, but I’m not married to all of it if you’re moving with stuff! Lots of room to add your style too

About me: Ethan, 24, he/him, queer/gay. I’ve lived in the city for ~2 years. I work in Human Resources at a bank Mon-Fri, on a hybrid schedule (2 days at home, 3 in office). In my free time I love making art, watching tv, being outside and with friends. 420 friendly! I'm open to someone with a dog (kitty that currently lives here will be moving out with current roommate). I am fairly clean and would like someone who equally keeps shared spaces clean. Hoping to build some community with the person I live with!!
