Hi!! We are two women in our early 20s looking for our next (female) roommate! We are both students studying at John Jay. We’re very open and hope to have not just a new roommate, but a new friend!

The 3 room, 1 bathroom apartment is on the same street as CUNY - City College, and a 4 minute walk from the 1 train. The apartment is also only up one flight of stairs. I’m not disclosing the exact address on here for safety reasons, but I will once you DM me that you’re interested!!

Rent divided is $866 a month. Electricity/gas through Con Edison and wifi through Spectrum adds it to no more than $950 a month (normally it is about $910)

Out of the two roommates who will remain, one is on the lease, while the other is an occupant, so you will be put on the lease

The room is available by May 3rd! It is a smallish room, but can fit a queen bed. Right now, the room contains a twin trundle bed, a vanity, full closet, side table, litter box, and vanity cabinet, while still having space. It will be cleaned, unfurnished, and move-in ready upon arrival. Your room also has access to the fire escape

We have a fully furnished living room with a big television and many streaming services free to use. The photos added are from old listings, but it looks the exact same; the room shown is the room you will rent

The apartment has a kitten with the most playful soul and loves meeting new people. Along with the pet, we are both very clean in our shared spaces. We do like to smoke and party, but are always respectful of each other’s space. We are alcohol, weed, and more than that friendly!

Both tenants have partners, with one being LGBT+, so please be respectful of our identities

Before you move in, we’d like to meet with you a few times to see if we all vibe with each other!
