2 bed 1 bath (flex room for rent)

Hi All. I am a 27 year old banker who is looking for a roommate for this newly renovated 2 bedroom/ 1 bath. Rent is going to be 2205/month come June 15th (we are going to negotiate this down to closer to 2175). It’s located in FiDi in a newly renovated doorman building. Both rooms are roughly the same size, only difference my room isn’t a flex and has a hallway with closet but I share the space with my roommate now and will be happy to with you. He does not have a closet but I purchased him a vanity to store his clothes and I am willing to pay for one out of my own pocket for you as well.

Amenities include elevator, doorman, trash shoot located on every floor, fitness center, in building laundry, large rooftop for all and has loungers to lay out, dishwasher, stove/oven and there is a loft in this apartment that we use for guests and an entertainment center (it’s cozy nook to watch movies or play video games if you want to decompress). Ceilings are roughly 30 feet high.

In addition, management does an excellent job with maintaining the building and has an exterminator come once a month (never seen any insect in my two year living here). I’m pretty close with both managers and have their personal mobiles in the event I need help. The building is pet friendly as well. Location wise, it’s steps away from the WTC and access to every major subway line(I work midtown and I’m there in > 20min).

I’m looking for a roommate that is driven, reasonably clean and is appreciative of open communication. I work late and have a long distance gf who lives in LA which means I travel a lot so you’ll have the place to yourself often. I love to cook and will gladly share whatever I make with you. I am extremely clean and have cleaned up after my roommates before me (no complaints as long as you contribute too). Would love somebody around my own age that is cool and has similar interests(travelling, football, business, cooking, etc. This is a safe space and I am pretty open minded guy who will always give respect where it is received.
