3rd Roomate Needed - Excellent Apartment on UES

Hello there!

My name is Nick, and I am currently living with my roommate Sohel. We have just secured a new apartment for ourselves, the lease for which starts on May 15th (2024). We have a third individual who has signed the lease with us, who will not be pursuing this location further, so we have a spot opening up at the apartment. The apartment is located right near the footbridge to Randalls Island, and a short walk from Central Park. Close proximity to the 96 St Q train.

Our lease will be active for 12/13 months, but in all likelihood we plan to extend it further than that once the time for renewal comes up. Therefore, we are looking for a third person to fill the empty room with us.

The rent overall for the location, and the size of the apartment, in our opinion, is one of the best deals in the city. The building is located on 1st Avenue right next to the East River, and we are on the 13th floor, so we should have some pretty great views of the city and of the river.

We are looking for a someone to fill the third roommate spot at $1475 a month, with the $1317 security deposit (remember you get this back later at the end of the lease). Ideally, we would love to have someone who can commit to the full year/13 months of the lease, but we have left it open, in case we discover that myself/Sohel are not the right fit for you. The apartment itself is actually shockingly spacious for the price (which is why we signed for it and think its a great deal!)

Ideally we are looking for a professional individual. Generally, our criteria are just to be a decent person, and be a **clean** person. We frequently have friends over to cook dinner with and occasionally play board games, but we always make sure to clean up our messes and make sure that the apartment (especially the bathroom!) remain in a clean and sanitary state.
