I'm retired sound technician and DJ. I have been so for 46 years. I need some help with my equipment. I need to start straightening up the front room and I plan to make a small recording studio out of it. Last year I had a pipe burst and the room needs to be straightened up and cleaned. A lot of equipment needs to be moved around and it's very heavy and cramped. I want to soundproof the entire room and make it nice and clean again as well as comfortable. I also need to buy some more racks for even more equipment that I have now. I also have plywood that I'm going to use for a door to be put up in place and locked I also want to make a small hallway out of a closet and access room into the studio with a door a small door, the audio racks are there and it will be a lot easier to access them the interconnects and processors. I have paint to paint the plywood and hardware to hang it. I'd really like to get this going as soon as possible. I need knee surgery so I'm having a little trouble getting around. I do drive and I have a legal Jeep. I am a licensed driver and I would prefer and hope that you would have your own transportation and a legal driver's license. I can cook and I'm a pretty good cook I'm not a chef so if there's certain things you like let me know what you like I'm not going to buy groceries for the whole house because currently I am partially ambulatory, but that too will be fixed. I don't do drugs at all anymore. None. I do drink and prefer mixed drinks. I also smoke but I am not a chainsmoker, so if you're allergic to cigarette smoke don't even think about it.
