Short Term Bedroom in Prime Williamsburg!

Hello Room Seekers! We're excited to offer a furnished room in the heart of prime Williamsburg on Grand and Driggs Ave for a short-term duration (4-6 months). It's a fabulous, big apartment in an amazing area, and we’re hoping to have a great person fill the room for the short term.

Here's the tea:
• Good-sized furnished bedroom with high ceilings and large window - great light! The window looks onto the apartment patio.
• The bedroom fits a full bed and desk
• The bedroom has a designated walk-in closet currently outfitted with a shelving for a large amount of storage overhead
• The apartment has a big living room and an even bigger kitchen & dining room that gets tons of light
• We've got an outside roof deck area. Currently houses a hammock, outdoor table, and couch; We’ve even set up an outdoor movie projector - perfect for some entertainment when the weather allows!
• Transportation is ideal -- 7-minute walk to the Bedford L train, 10-minute walk to the Metropolitan Av/Lorimer St G train, and 11-minute walk to the Marcy JMZ trains. We also have 3 CitiBike locations within a 1-minute walk of the apartment!
• The area is unmatched -- Our place is near amazing shops, nightlife, bars, great restaurants, workout studios, grocery stores (Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, FoodTown), Williamsburg Cinemas all within a few blocks. It's a 7-minute walk to Domino Park and a 11-minute walk to McCarren Park.
• Our block has a ton of shops, rather than bars, so it's pretty quiet at night
• There's a laundromat 2-3 blocks in every direction
• Utilities and internet range $80-$100 a month per person.

About you:
You are in your late twenties or early thirties. Female preferred, but open to all. You are clean, considerate, employed, and busy. You go to bed at a decent hour. You want your space to be chill, a place to come home to and be semi-social. You are seeking a room for a short period of time (4-6 months) with option to extend. We are open to interns, international travelers, professionals on short-term assignments, or just folks in transition. We prefer folks who are not a 100% remote worker.

ABOUT THIS LISTER
Maria is a 32-year-old woman from California, working as a consultant in the city. She likes taking dance classes, politics, broadway shows, and concerts. Her spirit animal is a peacock. Favorite shows include Succession, Insecure, and Big Little Lies. Favorite neighborhood cheap eats include Vanessa's dumplings and Joe's pizza. Pre-COVID, leaves for work at 8am, returns around 6pm. Currently works from home a few days a week.

Analisa is a 31-year-old woman from what many call Upstate New York, but what she calls “an hour north of the city”. She loves dancing, playing sports, baking, adventures, traveling, and grabbing food & drinks with friends. Her favorite spot in the neighborhood is “Le Bicyclette”, a quaint French bakery 1 block away - along with many more! Too many to choose! She is a consultant in Manhattan, and is on a hybrid working schedule - usually leaving the apartment at 8am and returning around 7pm.

We are a non-smoking, LGBTQ-friendly, drug-free, leave-the-party-at-the-bar apartment. We're respectful, tidy, and get a cleaner once a month. We get along great in the space and have separate lives outside of the apartment. We're both progressive, hard-working professionals, and hope you are too.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• $1650 rent + utilities; security deposit required
• Short term lease agreement (3-month minimum stay with flexible start and end date)
