One bedroom available in a 4 bed/1.5 bath apartment in Crown Heights. Rent $960 per month. The room would be available May 1. The lease ends July 31, with the opportunity to renew (would prefer someone looking to resign).

Hey everyone, my roommates and I are looking for someone to move into our open room in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. There will be 4 total people living in the apartment. There is a studio in the basement with 3 bedrooms upstairs. The room is unfurnished and has a closet and windows facing the street. The previous tenant has a full sized mattress and a desk. The dimensions of the bedroom are roughly 10ft x 10.5ft.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a walk-up building and there are three stairs needed to enter the building, we are the first door in the building. We have a bookshelf and table in the living room. We also pay electricity, internet, and gas utilities monthly; these are typically under $100 total per person.

The apartment is in a good location right off Nostrand Ave. It’s close to many restaurants, corner stores, the grocery store, and the laundromat. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Nostrand Av A/C and 3 train stops. It’s also less than 15 mins from the 2/5 & S train. All 3 roommates are men in their mid 20s, two work full time and one is a grad student. I also have a cat that predominantly stays in the basement.
