- Not included: Gas, electric (costs vary depending on the time of year). You would only be responsible for ⅓ of utilities.
- Couples welcome! *$600/mo + ½ utilities
- Pets welcome! *Pet deposit $300 (refundable) or $25/mo pet rent
- Laundry: In building
- Room available almost immediately if needed.
- Weekly sublet: $800 including utilities ($950 couples)

The bedroom is approximately 11 x 13 with two tall street-facing windows, a small closet, two large dressers, and large shelves along the top of the walls for storage. I am currently using it for storage and will continue to do so until it is rented, so I don't have any great photos of it at the moment. But it's pretty much identical to my room, except for the paint color.

The home is a ground-floor two-story duplex with a big backyard full of chickens! [Yes, chickens, in the middle of Brooklyn. They are my babies.] We have fresh eggs daily! 😍

*The main floor is our living area/ home (with my bedroom in the back of the home, next to the kitchen, a full bathroom, living room, front entrance, and then your room at the front). The home is fully furnished, and I have plenty of linens that you could use.
There is space in the living room to work from home. The laundry is in the building, and we have direct access through my business entrance in the basement, so it's almost like it's in the unit without taking up space.

*Downstairs is "kind of" off-limits, especially when I'm working. Although you would have use of the projector and sectional pull-out sofa, so long as I don't have clients in a session. It is fully equipped with a sound system and FireTV with Netflix, Prime Video, HBOMax, Hulu, and most streaming services.)
Currently, I am in the process of renovating downstairs, so it will be a little while before the theater area is usable.
Also, if you like building things, I have a fully stocked workshop (which is below my bedroom, so you wouldn’t hear me working), and you would have access (upon approval) to use the space and my tools.
Access to the backyard is through my workshop. The backyard has my shed, garden, chickens, and most of my building materials. It is under construction at the moment. Hopefully finishing before winter!
You would also have access to the rooftop via the stairs above the third floor.
The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the building, and all of my work is done downstairs. Your room is the furthest from anything that makes noise in our home.

The neighborhood:
In my opinion, it's perfect. Almost anything you need is within a 2-block radius, but the street is usually not super busy, especially at night. The Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Gardens are about a 15-minute walk away, and the 2/3/4 trains are a five-minute walk, just a few blocks from Eastern Parkway. Easy access to JFK and the city by both train and car.

About Lovetta:
I work about 95% of the time, so I'm home a lot. (Downstairs or out back working, not in the living space) I spend most of my free time sleeping.
I'm a professional couples sex coach counselor, massage therapist, set builder, and woodworker.
I'm super laid back, friendly, and hospitable. My home, business, and my baby chickens mean the world to me. I've lived here for over three years and intend to stay for a very long time.
I don't have friends over very often, but I don't mind if you do. I'm a very heavy sleeper, so you won't wake me.

I'm open to short-term rentals, but ideally, I'd like to find a longer-term tenant who will love, respect, and appreciate my home as much as I do.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

I look forward to meeting you!
