Crown Heights Room

Crown Heights sublet, flexible for short-term stays. Currently available STARTING IN DECEMBER 2022. We will start meeting with potential roommates in the last week of Oct/first week of Nov. Pre-War 4 bed, 2 bath with full eat-in kitchen and living room - a Brooklyn gem!

Monthly rent: $950, cost of utilities not included (utilities average ~$40-100/roommate depending on the month/season). Utility bill consists of electric, heat, and internet. Month-to-month, December through end of May (we will accept any length of sublet 2-5 months).

0.4 miles to Kingston-Throop C (~6 minute walk) and 0.6 miles to Nostrand A/C (~10 minute walk)

The apartment is on the fourth floor of a gorgeous 8-unit building that has central AC/heating, a washer/dryer in the building, bike storage, and has storage units in the basement. There is also access to the backyard - which includes a seating area, a garden, and access to the rooftop.

The room: has one window facing the street, has a built-in desk, and has a large closet. Fits up to a queen bed (which is the size of the bed in the photos!)

Shared spaces include a large kitchen with a dishwasher and a large living room with a beautiful fireplace feature.

The 3 roommates are late 20s:/early 30's

Roommate 1 works from home and enjoys to cook, including occasionally preparing food as a private chef from our kitchen!

Roommate 2 has a hybrid working schedule and enjoys exploring New York!

Roommate 3 works from home and enjoys to read.

Preference for who you are, to support a balance in a shared home: work primarily outside of the house, not an every-day cook, no pets, non-smoker. We are also open to flexible housing arrangements (i. e. half time, renting out the space as a work/studio space, etc.)
