Looking for three roommates to join in on a lease renewal at a centrally located Bushwick, Brooklyn apartment. A beautiful, recently remodeled building on a quiet, picturesque block of Bushwick Avenue. A quick 5-min walk to the Central M train stop, or an 8 min walk from Myrtle - Broadway M/J/Z. 20 min train ride to the Lower East Side, 30 min to downtown Manhattan, 40 min to Midtown.
The area around the apartment is your typical Bushwick, with lots of fun bars and good restaurants within walking distance. Great for people who enjoy going out and leading a healthy nightlife, seeing shows, etc. Bushwick is a neighborhood full of things to do.
The first two rooms are the largest, each with enough space to comfortably fit a full bed, desk, and bookshelves/dressers/etc. These two rooms face the street and receive a beautiful amount of sunlight (perfect for plant lovers). The third room is a bit smaller but can fit up to a full bed with room left for a small desk/workspace.
There are three bathrooms in total. One is mine, leaving one small bathroom with a standing shower for someone’s personal use and a larger bathroom with a tub and more storage, ideal for sharing between the two remaining tenants.
Pets are no issue with the landlord, cats are preferred. Goes without saying but they must be well trained and you must be a conscientious pet owner who cleans up after them.
About me: I am a 26-year-old male (he/him) who works in the live music industry and enjoys playing music and writing semi-professionally in my spare time. I have a 9-5 which I go to Mon-Fri and am typically out of the house, although I enjoy unwinding in the common space listening to records, watching movies, or reading during the evening and on weekends.
I have lived at this apartment with the departing roommates (three women) for about three years now and am interested in maintaining a very similar vibe. Preferably want to keep things calm around the house/common space, smoker friendly, always down for you to have guests over (provided there is a heads up), and overnight guests are not a problem.
I am looking for people who are clean, quiet, cool, and enjoy maintaining good relationships with others. Those are my only major requirements.
