Hi, my name is Lex! My girlfriend Iris and I are looking for someone to move into the furnished basement floor of our duplex May 1st to June 30th! (With potential to renew for 1 year starting July) It is effectively its own apartment, except with a shared kitchen.

The apartment is a 3 bed 2 bath duplex that I have lived in for almost 3 years. It is ground floor + basement and located 3 blocks from the Myrtle-Wyckoff L/M stop. 4 blocks to Food Bazaar (grocery), 1/2 block to the laundromat.
The kitchen is on the ground floor and shared with us.

You get the entire basement floor (and an upstairs bathroom) to yourself! This includes a bedroom (has high up windows that face the street), a living room area, and a huge closet (usable as an office).

About me: I grew up in New York and never left! I have a sweet cat (who doesn’t go downstairs) and also work as a pet sitter and event gig worker. My work schedule is irregular, so there’s periods where I’m hanging out in my room all day and periods that I am away. I’m pretty quiet but am down to hangout!

About Iris: Hi I’m Iris! I work in the music industry. During the winter, I’m mostly at home. During the summer, I travel for work a lot and it’s like I don’t even live here! When I am home, I love movies, art, reading, and exploring the city. I generally go to bed around midnight and value quiet hours. I’m also down to hang out whether that be going out or chilling around the house if you are!
